I'm currently working with a law firm who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Legal Secretary to join their leading Employment Law team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legal support and demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with clients face-to-face and over the phone
- Audio/copy typing, including digital dictation
- File opening and compliance support
- Assisting solicitors and other staff within the department
- Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
- Document management and maintaining effective filing systems
- General administrative duties
- Working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Proofreading and ensuring accuracy in documentation
Candidates should have several years of experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firm, excellent IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, exceptional written communication and proofreading skills, enthusiasm for providing excellent client service and ability to work efficiently under pressure and to deadlines.
