You will be joining a Local Authority with a substantial property portfolio and will be working on their non-residential capital projects. You will work alongside their permanent Estates team offering support in delivering capital projects.

Your new roleAs the Interim Capital Project Manager, you will work on a wide variety of construction capital projects ranging from high-level management of c.£500k projects through to high value town centre development and regeneration projects. It can be expected the majority of projects will be substantial development projects and you will work alongside others to deliver these as part of a wider team. This role is offered on a part-time basis of three days per week and is expected to be for six months, though this may be extended depending on future capital project budgets. This role is offered with hybrid working options and you will be required to attend site visits.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful for this role, you should be an experienced Capital Project Manager and ideally have experience gained working with public sector commercial portfolios. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role and you should live within commutable distance of Essex.
