We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join this incredible Restaurant in a Private Members Club in Mayfair.

Position: Sous Chef
Location: Mayfair
Salary: £45,000 (paid overtime)
Hours: 48 hours per week - (single shifts, no doubles)
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)
Cuisine: French & Nikkei Cuisine

This is the perfect position for a chef looking for more work / life balance while also maintaining a very high standard of cooking. With a seasonal menu and amazing products, you will be integral (along with the head chef) in creating new menus, and using your creativity.
This position also comes with opportunities for progression as the company expands.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking to the highest standards.
  • Oversee and train kitchen staff, ensuring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Support menu development and create seasonal dishes and specials.
  • Manage inventory, stock control, and ordering.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor food costs, portion control, and minimize waste.
  • Assist in planning and executing private events and special occasions.
