This role will be central to partnering with sales and commercial teams, enhancing profitability and strengthening data-driven decision-making. As the organisation accelerates its growth across new markets and customer channels, this position offers excellent opportunities for career progression and increased commercial exposure.Key Responsibilities:Commercial Business PartneringWork closely with sales and commercial teams to provide financial insight, challenge assumptions, shape pricing decisions and support revenue growth.Budgeting & ForecastingLead accurate monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting cycles with a clear focus on sales performance, commercial drivers and pipeline visibility.Financial AnalysisDeliver margin analysis, customer and product profitability reviews, sales performance reporting, variance analysis and commercial insights to support strategic initiatives.ReportingPrepare monthly commercial review packs, sales commentary, pricing impact summaries, bridge statements and presentations for senior leadership.Controls & ComplianceMaintain strong financial governance, support audit requirements and ensure commercial policies, pricing documentation and agreements are adhered to.Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport commercial contract reviews, rebate and incentive calculations, pricing evaluations, scenario modelling, and wider growth projects.Desirable Skills:Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or equivalent experienceExperience within commercial finance, sales finance or management accounting rolesStrong business partnering capability with proven experience influencing sales and commercial teamsAdvanced Excel skills with strong analytical and commercial modelling abilityComfortable working under pressure and supporting a fast-paced, commercially driven environmentBenefits:Competitive salary with discretionary bonusCar allowanceEnhanced pension scheme25 days annual leave + bank holidaysAdditional benefits including PHIRegister:If this role isnt right for you, please dont hesitate to register with us so we can arrange a consultation and support you in securing your next career move.Farrer Barnes Ltd does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
