About the roleAs a qualified Dispensing Optician you will be providing a high level of customer care and expert advice to make a real difference to our customers and keep them coming back. You will work in one of our stores reporting to the Store Manager.Responsibilities include: Providing clinical support in store for regulated dispensing Inspiring your Optical team by sharing your knowledge to offer the very best service. Listening to the needs of customers and offer expertise and advice. Helping our customers to choose the correct eyewear and offer guidance to ensure our customers receive the best product suited to their needs. Supporting the team to deliver an efficient model day and operational processes to ensure that the business trades legally. Each store is well-equipped (including OCT Optomap and phoropters) and supported by experienced teams who create a fun and welcoming atmosphere.Our stores have all been recently refitted (September 2025) with spacious testing rooms and a modern look that makes them a great environment for both patients and colleagues.This is a full-time role working 95 most days with one late clinic on Thursdays (until 7pm) and Sunday hours of 114:30.
