Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and high-calibre Scientific Support Specialist to work with the Laboratory support team and alongside a team of analytical Scientists. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, service, calibration & maintenance of laboratory instrumentation & analysis of pharmaceutical products with a range of Chromatography instrumentation.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a regulated analytical chemistry laboratory
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC & UPLC instrumentation; ideally with experience diagnosing faults on the instruments
  • Experience in an administrative/customer-facing role is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in using Microsoft office packages, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask.
