1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Havering – Start ASAP Are you a motivated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs? 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide focused 1:1 support, working with students with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including ADHD and visual impairment
  • Offer support both in-class and in breakout sessions, tailored to each student’s needs
  • Implement behaviour management techniques and collaborate with the class teacher to support effective learning
  • Work closely with SEN professionals to promote academic achievement and personal growth
Ideal Requirements for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Degree (1:1 or 2:1) from a leading UK University
  • Experience working with SEN students, including knowledge of ADHD and visual impairment
  • Confident in managing behaviour and fostering a supportive learning environment
