This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for someone eager to learn more about coffee production and get hands-on in a dynamic fast-paced environment. Youll play a key role in supporting the roasterys daily operations - from weighing packing and preparing orders to working closely with our expert roasting team.This full-time role is based at36 Maltby Street working40 hours per week including some weekends with start times that vary depending on the needs of the business.Directly reports into: Roastery Manager.Key Responsibilities:You will be responsible for packing roasted coffee for retail customers and shops.You will support the team with fulfilling E-commerce orders including grinding packing and labelling orders.Restocking the roastery for production days.You will assist in preparing production and weighing out green coffee.Support with loading and delivering coffee into our van.Maintain a clean and efficient working roastery space.Youll support with any ad-hoc duties as outlined by the Roastery Manager as and when for the business.Key to this role:Live and breathe our core values of passion empathy diligence and can do.Be a great communicator.Able to work well within a team and take clear direction to work alone.Organised efficient and diligent in managing your workload.Always display a professional conduct.Able to work within a fast-paced environment and ensure tasks are completed to tight deadlines.You must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting and knowing your limits.Moving coffee sacks pallets once delivery arrives.Keen interest to learn how to Roast using our Roaster Probat.What you can expect at WatchHouse:Contracted hours every week.Free coffee tea and WatchHouse made drinks (even on your days off)Providing on and off shift training when you join the team to ensure you are set for success.250g of free coffee each month.Genuine opportunities for career growth within WatchHouse as we continue to grow.Free lunch on every shift.An invite to the annual WatchHouse Party; including presenting the Core Value Awards and prizes such as a trip to Coffee Farms30% of food in any of our Houses any time.30% of our WatchHouse retail coffee any time.This role is eligble for tronc equating approximately 1.70 per hour.Working at WatchHouse.WatchHouse was born from a passion to do better.
