Operations Data Analyst Intern

Spring 2026 Internship: This position is located at our HQ in Durham NC. Expected program dates are January 20 April 24 2026. Anticipated working hours will be 20-to-30 per week around class schedules. Final hours and schedule will be determined between the intern and their manager.Note: Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions will not be providing visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future. Therefore in order to be considered for this position you must have the ability to work without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.Introduction:The Operations Data Analyst Intern will support the SGs Finance and Operations Team to support the engine into a single source of truth that accelerates decision making driving revenue growth and margin expansion and scaling with discipline. This role goes beyond reporting. It is about building clean data foundations improving system integrity faster decision making with deeper insights and enabling smarter execution across the division.Must Have:Must be local to Raleigh/Durham NC Area. This is a hybrid role at least 1-2 days a week in personStrong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand how business decisions flow through dataHigh data hygiene instinct and attention to detailOwnership mindset with bias to improve systems not just produce outputsAbility to communicate clearly and succinctly in a business-friendly waySome familiarity with LLM integration and Agentic System Knowledge (LLM RAG Prompt Engineering) is a big plusResponsibilities:Build and maintain structured data pipelines using Salesforce Excel and Tableau to support forecasting pipeline analytics and performance trackingClean validate and ensure integrity of opportunity stage and financial data to make it audit defensible and decision readyDevelop KPI dashboards and insight views to support leadership reviewsAutomate manual workflows where possible using templates macros or AI assistanceDocument logic definitions and business assumptions with clarity and traceabilityPartner with Sales Ops BizOps and Strategic Finance to ensure alignment to a single source of truthRequired Skills:Currently majoring in Computer Science / Business and in a degree seeking program (undergraduate or graduate)Advanced Excel proficiency including Power Query for ETL and data reshaping ability to manage and optimize large structured datasets and experience building automation via VBA or Python is a big plus.Strong analytical thinking with the ability to validate logic not just calculate outputsExperience with Tableau or similar BI tools such as Power BIFamiliarity or comfort learning Salesforce data modelAbility to communicate business ready insights and not just raw data summariesPreferred Skills:Exposure to SaaS revenue models financial forecasting or pipeline managementExperience building dashboards or analytics for leadership consumptionFoundational understanding of accounting go to market operations or sales and finance process mechanicsAutomation with AI assisted workflows and process optimizationNice to have - Operational Analytics (pipeline health and lifecycle velocity segmentation and ROI)About the Company:Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions Inc. is a dynamic billion-dollar global company based in Research Triangle Park NC providing retail store solutions to your favorite brands.
