DescriptionSalary 24796 - 25185 per annum Permanent Part-time 25 hours per week Preston Lancashire St Ignatius Primary SchoolLancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire serving over 60000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.You will work as part of a team within St Ignatius Primary School Preston producing fresh high quality healthy balanced meals school children each day. You must have previous experience in kitchens. With a proven track record in similar position.Key responsibilities:Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plansDirect and/or supervise other employeesOrder supplies and store deliveriesMaintain records and stock controlWhat we are looking for:Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirableExperience of catering for large numbers is also desirableWorking Hours/Days: 5 hours per day/25 weekly. Monday to Friday/ Term time only.Plus four cleaning daysThe post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
