We are looking for a Principal Solutions Architect to join and Investment Solutions company based in Central London. You will oversee a team of Software Engineers & Architects and work very closely with their CTO, delivering technology solutions for their customers and clients.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the business and have a genuine impact on the direction of their company. You will be the first Principal Architect / Principal Engineer to join their business and will be heavily involved with technical strategy, leadership, engineering practices and system architecture.


  • You must have experience working as a Principal Architect or Principal Engineer and have proven experience of designing system architecture.
  • Solid experience of senior technology leadership roles, for example, Lead Solutions Architect, Senior Principal Engineer, Senior Staff Engineer etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of building high throughput, low latency, mission-critical systems.
  • A track record of successfully introducing effective software engineering practices and technologies into an organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Java OO Language, service-orientated architecture, enterprise messaging solutions and relational database design.
  • Expertise in Cloud technology such as AWS / Amazon Web Services
