About the Role:We are seeking a highly organised and detail orientedFinance Assistant to join our busy finance team. This role is an excellentopportunity for someone looking to build or further develop their career in a legalsetting supporting the day to day running of our client and office accounts ina fast paced professional environment.Key Responsibilities:Processing financial transactions in line withregulatory requirements including both client and office accountsCarrying out daily bank reconciliations andmonitoring account balancesManaging incoming and outgoing paymentsincluding CHAPS BACS and chequesMonitoring and maintaining client ledgers toensure accuracy and complianceEnsuring full compliance internal financialcontrols and industry regulationsAssisting with purchase ledger and sales ledgerprocessingSupporting month end and year end financialreporting activitiesHandling petty cash and expense claimsefficientlyLiaising with fee earners externalstakeholders and suppliers to resolve financial queriesAssisting with the organisation and retrieval ofarchived filesEnsuring compliance with data protection andconfidentiality policiesSupporting general office administrationincluding filing scanning and document managementMaintaining accurate records and ensuring proper archiving of financial and legal documents About You:Previous experience in a finance or accountsrole (experience in a law firm is desirable but not essential)Strong numerical and analytical skills withexcellent attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financesoftwareA proactive approach with the ability to managemultiple tasks and deadlinesExcellent communication skills and aprofessional mannerCommitment to always maintaining confidentialityand complianceWhat we will offer in returnCompany pension scheme33 days annual leaveincluding bank holidaysProfessional developmentEmployee referral schemeBirthday leaveAdditional holidays for long serviceHealth Care Cash Plan If youre looking for a role where accuracy integrity andteamwork are valued wed love to hear from you.
