Production Supervisor Competitive + Benefits including bonus Welwyn Garden City Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for a Production Supervisor to work at their facility based near Hatfield Performance Objectives To take full responsibility for your team in terms of H&S, training and management of staff Accountability for meeting production, warehousing and quality targets Ensure the smooth running of the production processes Ensure all products are manufactured and shipped to the customer in a timely manner adhering to delivery schedules. Communicate all delays or variances in movement of product to all appropriate parties. Maintain strict control over product levels and process to meet internal and external demands Identify discrepancies and take action and resolve Investigate causes of lost or damaged products or shipments Implement and monitor performance metrics Assist with annual stock take To enforce quality and Health and Safety rules Identify Problems and take fast effective action to resolve To work closely with other Shift Supervisors / area leads to ensure production handovers are effective Maintain housekeeping standards Maintaining high level of timekeeping Provide cover for other Supervisors when necessary Management and control of overtime and reporting to senior management relevant information To coach, train, retain and motivate staff within a team based and inclusive culture.
