Salary: £95k - £105k + 15% bonus

The Role: As a Data Privacy Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in delivering projects that ensure clients meet their privacy and data protection obligations. You’ll work closely with clients to implement strategies that not only ensure compliance with regulations such as CCPA, GDPR, and Privacy Shield, but also enhance business opportunities by leveraging new privacy legislation. Your expertise will guide organizations through the adoption of new technologies and governance models to integrate privacy into their everyday business.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Advise clients on compliance with data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards (GAPP, BCR).
  • Lead and deliver projects focused on data protection, from assessments to the implementation of privacy frameworks.
  • Help organizations optimize their privacy processes and governance to improve business-as-usual operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, guiding cross-functional teams on privacy risks and compliance strategies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for business growth and team development within the privacy consulting space.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience with data protection and privacy regulations in the private sector, ideally with clients in Life Sciences or Financial Services.
  • Strong understanding of privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, Privacy Shield, and related frameworks like GAPP.
  • Relevant certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/E, CISM, CISSP, or a willingness to obtain these qualifications with our support.
  • The ability to understand client business models and tailor privacy strategies to meet their unique needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders, from legal and IT to business and security teams.
