About Us: We are exclusively partnering a growing SME freight forwarding business, in their search for a talented Senior Commercial Manager to drive the commercial strategy and foster growth in the sales team.


Position Overview: The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies that enhance profitability, drive business development, and strengthen client relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive industry experience and a proven track record in commercial management within the freight forwarding sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the freight forwarding industry.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to align commercial activities with overall business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on commercial performance, making adjustments as necessary.
