Role: Head of Engineering Sector: Bioenergy - Power Generation Location: Remote / Field-Based Salary: Circa £80K + Bonus + pension Our client is a highly respected business in the renewable energy sector. They are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Engineering to lead all engineering and technical operations across their various plants. This role offers the opportunity to shape the engineering strategy for a growing business that is making a significant impact on sustainable energy generation. You will have full responsibility for developing engineering standards across multiple operational sites and delivering both preventative and reactive maintenance solutions. You will work closely with senior leadership and project teams to deliver large capital projects and to continually improve plant performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities • Create and deliver a long-term engineering strategy for current operations and future anaerobic digestion plant developments • Provide technical direction and leadership across mechanical, electrical, civil and process engineering teams • Oversee the design, development, construction and commissioning of new plants and major upgrade projects • Manage preventative maintenance plans and ensure a fast and effective response to reactive engineering needs • Ensure that all engineering activities comply with environmen...
