The business is profitable and continues to grow, with a current turnover of approx. £100 Million.  The is a well rounded Management Accountant role encompassing management accounts production, business partnering and FP&A.

Duties will be varied and include:- 

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations for variances from budget and forecasts
  • Maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning and suggest improvements
  • Support the annual budgeting process
  • Monitor budget performance and update forecasts based on actual performance and changing business conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations
  • Monitor internal control processes to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data and suggests improvements
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as required by management
  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial systems and processes for improved efficiency and accuracy
  • Lead or participate in finance-related projects to support business objectives

To be considered for this role you will have the following skills and experiences: - 

  • CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA Qualified (Late Part Qualified will also be considered)
  • Previous management accounting experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel 
  • Good organisation skills
  • Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Being able to work to deadlines on a regular basis
  • Previously assisted with annual audits
  • Hard working and dedicated
  • Attention to detail
