The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing complex medium to large-scale projects across Digital IT Data or business transformation domains. This includes overseeing resources schedules financials and ensuring adherence to project control guidelines. The role involves managing issues risks and change requests to ensure successful and timely project delivery.Key responsibilities include:Planning and designing projects monitoring progress resolving issues and initiating corrective actions.Managing project budgets tracking expenditure and reporting to programme management.Coordinating with third-party suppliers and delivery partners to ensure timely delivery.Building strong relationships with internal teams vendors and stakeholders.Identifying and managing risks and issues that may impact project outcomes.Operating change control processes during project delivery.Tracking interdependencies with other projects and communicating them across the portfolio.Ensuring appropriate resource allocation and availability to meet project milestones.Reporting project progress through highlight reports and structured PMO processes.Leading multidisciplinary teams within a matrix structure to deliver high-quality outcomes.Qualifications : Minimum of 10 years experience delivering complex projects in Digital IT Data or business transformation for large or medium organisations.Proven track record of successful project delivery using PRINCE2 or similar methodologies; strong experience with Agile SCRUM and Waterfall.Excellent leadership communication (written verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time within scope and within budget.Experience engaging with senior client stakeholders and managing expectations.Strong technical background; experience in the utilities sector is desirable.Experience creating and managing large-scale project plans and achieving key milestones.Extensive experience managing large budgets including forecasting and tracking.Skilled in risk and issue management with a track record of problem-solving and mitigation.Experience in resource management and forecasting within matrix delivery structures.Familiarity with structured PMO environments and defined processes and procedures.Additional Information : At Version 1 we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their well-being professional growth and financial stability. One of our standout advantages is the ability to work with a hybrid schedule along with business travel allowing our employees to strike a balance between work and life.
