We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health Service as a Advanced Public Health Practitioner Sexual Health.About UsAre you passionate about improving sexual health outcomes and tackling health inequalities We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Advanced Public Health Practitioner to lead the sexual health agenda across South Tees. This is a strategic leadership role focused on addressing high rates of teenage pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland. The post will oversee the delivery of the commissioned sexual health service and lead on sexual health prevention across the life course.About the Role You will: Lead the development implementation and evaluation of multi-agency sexual health programmes. Translate national policy and evidence into local action. Drive improvements in sexual health outcomes through prevention early intervention and partnership working. Contribute to the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) and other strategic plans. Represent the councils at regional and national forums advocating for sexual health and reducing inequalities.About You: You will bring a Masters Degree in Public Health or equivalent. At least 5 years post-graduate experience in public health. Proven experience in leading public health programmes and strategic partnerships. Strong analytical communication and leadership skills.This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the health and wellbeing of our communities across South Tees.
