About the Role

We are looking to welcome a Quality Officer to be based in Chandlers Ford. Workdry Ltd have a range of benefits plus a rewarding salary to offer you in return for your excellent eye for detail in ensuring we have a compliant and safe workplace environment.
This role will focus on the Quality aspects and objectives of the business's Quality Management System, ensuring the organisation has the relevant systems to comply with regulatory standards.
A background in construction would be advantageous; however, we are happy to welcome applicants from all types of industries to join our team.
It is essential that you have extensive knowledge using ISO9001 to be considered for this position.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Monitoring the performance of suppliers and sub-contractors, and ensuring records are available for approved suppliers.
  2. Investigating any incident as required to enable the business to provide the necessary information to the relevant authorities and external bodies.
  3. Conducting periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance with external standards and internal procedures.
  4. Analysing non-conformances and producing reports, statistics, and recommendations as appropriate.
  5. Creating, reviewing, and amending internal processes as appropriate to maintain compliance with standards and best practices, continually driving improvement throughout.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with the ability to balance multiple workstreams while working with several different clients and building partners in parallel.
  2. Recent and relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within Construction / Utilities / Pump / Plant Rental.
  3. A full UK driving licence is required for this position due to the role requiring travel to and from multiple locations.
  4. Ability and willingness to travel within the UK as necessary and stay away from home from time to time.
  5. Detailed knowledge and experience with ISO9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor.
  6. Compliant accurate record keeping.
  7. Ability to act proactively while maintaining a methodical, attention to detail approach.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
  9. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and good practice.
