Are you a Digital Business architect seeking a new challenge? We are partnering with a Top Tier IT Consultancy in search of a Digital Business Architect to join their dynamic team.


In this role, you will:

- Assist clients in defining their digital strategy and crafting business cases for digital investments.

- Develop compelling customer value propositions and innovative business models for the digital age.

- Document solution blueprints, roadmaps, capability models, and operating models.

- Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to organize delivery teams around value chains and create features and epics.


Salary - up to £70,000 Per Annum + Additional benefits

Remote Role with occasional client visits

Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance

Working with leading architects, technology consultants and business sector experts, you will be instrumental in delivering profitable outcomes in business- and technology-oriented environments, helping a broad range of private- and public-sector clients to achieve their strategic goals. Our Digital Business Architects sit within the Digital Architecture guild, part of the Business Technology practice. We are a dynamic community that values growth, professional development, and the ability to make a real difference. We work in diverse multi-disciplinary teams, hand-in-glove with our clients.


What you’ll bring to Digital Architecture:


The focus of your role, as a Digital Business Architect, will be on working on complex problems and leading teams of up-and-coming architects to create innovative solutions for our clients, comprising business and technical solution elements.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

What you'll do:

  • Help clients define their digital strategy and build the business case for investing in digital.
  • Define compelling customer value propositions and winning business models for the digital era.
  • Create and documenting solution blueprints, roadmaps, capability models, or operating models.
  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to structure delivery teams around value chains and create features and epics.
  • Apply Design Thinking to develop personas, define pain points, define MVPs and prototypes, and designing experiments to test solution hypotheses.
  • Work closely with SMEs to ensure design feasibility, viability, and compliance.
  • Communicate with both business and IT teams at all levels to ensure alignment and either change the solution elements or pivot when necessary.
  • Utilise data-driven decision making and build appropriate recommendations for your client.
  • Cultivate strong relationships among working teams and build enduring relationships with senior leadership.


We'd love to meet with someone with:

  • Business architecture experience in consulting or industry (Business/Enterprise Architect, Senior Business Analyst, Product Owner, Product Manager) using recognised methods and frameworks.
  • Wider experience and capability in technology-enabled rethinking / reengineering of business models (service design, organisational change, business strategy, financial analysis, process improvement such as Lean / Six Sigma).
  • Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills - able to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment – and to disambiguate it.
  • Ability to lead a team with direct reports.
  • Being highly organised and results oriented.
  • Delivering results in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eligibility for SC-level clearance, or previously/currently held.
  • Ability to understand and engage with technical teams on highly complex technology and data projects: you won’t be designing a technology stack, and you do need to understand the implications of the stack for the rest of the solution elements while maintaining a laser focus on the business value we’re delivering through this technology.
