This pivotal role bringsvalue and clarityby acting as the key link between Finance and Operations, driving financial awareness, and delivering clear, accurate, and timely financial insights to support the companys strategic and operational objectives across the region.Role Title:Finance Business Partner - Operations Location:Wolverhampton / Hybrid Salary:£55k-£65k Hours of Work:37.5 hours per week Contract Type:Permanent, Full Time Reporting to:EMEAA Operations Senior Finance Business PartnerKey ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for the full spectrum of operational finance, from strategic partnering to robust reporting and compliance.Operations Business Partnering: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and meet operational finance reporting needs, providing clear communication and alignment. Actively support manufacturing areas by identifying and drivingcost control measuresand ensuring adherence to forecasts. Assist in the definition and measurement of key operationalKPIs and their driversacross multiple sites. Reporting & Close Processes: Efficiently completemonth-end close processes , including account reconciliation, transaction review, and preparing operational financial statements to ensure timely and informed decision-making. Conduct accurateyear-end close processes , including preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Forecasting & Compliance: Generate and communicateforecast updates , clearly articulating the impact on site profitability. Assist with the annualStandard Cost revaluationand supportannual stocktake activitiesat multiple sites. Support and submit documentation forCapital Expenditure Requests (CERs) . Continuous Improvement: Proactivelyidentify and fix issues , working to find robust solutions to complex financial and operational problems.What You Will Already Have (Essential)You must be a qualified professional with a proactive, assertive attitude and a track record of success in manufacturing finance.Qualifications:Professional Accounting Qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)with a minimum of5 years post-qualification experience . Experience: Proven success in anoperational finance role , with a history of influencing, motivating, and participating in teams to produce high-quality reporting under tight timeframes. Experience assisting with annual stocktakes and standard costing processes is a significant advantage.Technical Skills:High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), ERP systems, and reporting tools.Soft Skills: Excellentverbal and written communication skillsand strong business presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skillswith the ability to see thebig picturewhile managing detailed project delivery. Assertiveapproach, prepared to challenge the status quo, see plans through, and overcome objections. Work Ethic:Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously while working at pace to meet tight deadlines.
