Receptionist for a London Finance Firm in Mayfair equired. A customer service expert is required to handle first impresisons for a range of UHNW clientele . As the initial point of contact, you'll be responsible for managing our reception area with poise, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that all guests, clients, and staff experience a seamless and welcoming environment.
As our Front of House expert, you'll need to bring 1st Class and 5* customer service skills to the table. Your ability to book lunches with the catering team, manage diaries, and coordinate meetings will be key. If you have previous FOH receptionist experience from a corporate setting, a 4 or 5* hotel, or have served as cabin crew, we want to hear from you
Reception Duties:
- Oversee the switchboard, acting as the firm's ambassador for incoming calls.
- Screen telephone calls and forward messages efficiently.
- Meet and greet clients, staff, and visitors in a warm, friendly manner.
- Utilize the meeting room calendar/meeting room software for scheduling.
- Set up conference calls and ensure all technical needs are met.
- Supervise the catering team during the setup and clearing of meeting rooms, ensuring the space is tidy at all times.
- Coordinate with hospitality teams to arrange drinks and lunches for guests.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including photocopying, faxing, and scanning.
- Sort and distribute post daily and arrange couriers when necessary.
- Assist PAs and Directors with various tasks.
- Book travel and accommodation for staff as required.
- Handle other ad hoc duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Front of House receptionist or as Cabin Crew.
- Exceptional communication and administrative skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Excellent telephone manner, well-presented, and polite.
- A strong team player with a proactive attitude.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
