We are excited to be partnering with a very impressive global medical device company.


Due to the growth of the business, they have had a brand new, vital, very exciting opportunity that has come up for their team in Oxford, Uk. The position is a Senior Strategic Buyer and is a permanent position.


The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will be an asset to the Purchasing team.


Responsibilities

  • Inventory analysis and management
  • Contract negotiations with suppliers both new and existing
  • Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
  • Assess and manage risk for a defined group of categories, taking appropriate action to minimise the impact on supply

Qualifications

  • Must have procurement experience - minimum 8 years
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience with a regulated industry
  • Confident using MS Office, ERP and SAP are advantageous
