As an Aspiring Child Therapist youll help children express themselves manage emotions and develop positive coping skills within a school setting.In this Aspiring Child Therapist position youll work alongside SEN staff Speech and Language Therapists and school counsellors supporting pupils through both group and individual sessions. Youll gain practical experience that will prepare you for further study or training in child therapy counselling or psychology.The Aspiring Child Therapist role is ideal for graduates who are patient empathetic and passionate about supporting childrens mental health and wellbeing.The Role:Support pupils with emotional and social needs in classAssist with wellbeing interventions and mentoring sessionsWork collaboratively with teachers and pastoral staffHours: 08:3015:30 (term-time only)Were Looking For:Minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology Counselling or related fieldGenuine interest in mental health and child developmentCalm compassionate and professional approachEnhanced DBS check or willingness to applyRibbons & Reeves are Londons leading Education Recruiters.
