Job Title: Temporary Cashier/Book-keeper

Location: Edinburgh City Centre, based within office

Remuneration: 15.38 - 16.97 per hour depending on experience

Contract Details: Starting ASAP for 2 months

Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile daily bank transactions
  • Manage payment runs to suppliers
  • Reconcile loan accounts at month-end
  • Administer corporate credit card programme
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements for multiple users
  • Process expense claims and update the nominal ledger
  • Perform general office duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous cashier experience and understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
  • Numeracy skills with GCSE or equivalent mathematics
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and prioritise workload
  • Experience in the education or professional environment and knowledge of PASS software (desirable)
