Youll be a key point of contact for our colleagues ensuring their journey with DC Thomson is smooth supportive and inspiring.Working closely with the Head of People Operations and the wider team youll help build and maintain simple clear processes policies and systems that meet the needs of our people. This role is key in supporting digital transformation and leveraging automation tools to enhance efficiency accuracy and employee experience.Reports to: Head of People OperationsLocation: DundeeWays of Working: Hybrid (office attendance required approximately 2 days per week at the DC Thomson Meadowside Office for collaboration team gatherings and company events)Contract Type: Full-time PermanentKey ResponsibilitiesEmployee OnboardingPrepare contracts and complete Right to Work checksAct as the first point of contact for new startersHR AdministrationMaintain accurate employee records in line with data protection lawsRespond to HR queries via our People Team mailboxCompliance and ReportingSupport HR audits and ensure legal complianceGenerate weekly HR reports and data analysisDigital Transformation and AutomationCollaborate with the People team to identify and implement process improvements.Support the rollout and adoption of digital tools (e.g. HRIS self-service portals).Help design and maintain automated workflows for approvals document handling and reporting.Absence ManagementMonitor and report on employee absencesTrack self-certification form completionAdditional DutiesProcess invoices and purchase orders using Business CentralManage our Driver Management systemSupport payroll with ad hoc admin tasksDrive continuous improvement in People processes and systemsRequirementsWhat Youll BringProven experience in HR or administrative rolesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisation and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)Familiarity with HR systems is a plusDiscretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive informationCIPD qualification (Level 5 or postgraduate) is desirableCore skills: Human Resources Management Data Management Change Management Information Security and Service SupportWhat We OfferOpportunities to grow and develop your careerA collaborative and inclusive working environmentCompetitive benefits and flexible working optionsMeaningful career conversations and support from your managerReady to make a difference Apply now and help us shape the future of DC Thomson through brilliant people experiences.BenefitsThis is a full-time permanent position working 35 hours per week from our Meadowside Office.
