AWS Glue Developer

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst role / AWS Glue developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and managing ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, along with a strong understanding of cloud-based data processing, transformation, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue.
Work with structured and semi-structured data from various sources including S3, RDS, Redshift, and external APIs.
Develop PySpark scripts for data transformation and cleansing.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
Optimize Glue jobs for performance and cost-efficiency.
Implement data quality checks and validation logic.
Monitor and troubleshoot Glue jobs and workflows.
Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, and AWS data services (S3, Athena, Redshift, RDS).
Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with ETL design patterns and data modelling.
Familiarity with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and CloudWatch for orchestration and monitoring.
Understanding of IAM roles, policies, and data access controls.
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
