The wider business has a strong forward order book for 2025, with a construction portfolio forecast in theregion of £450m , offering consistency and long-term opportunity for the right individual. About the Project You will be working on a major retained façade commercial office development in Birmingham — featuring15 and 7-storey buildings . The project has a specialist building services partner appointed to deliver the full M&E scope, requiring close coordination and integration throughout the design and delivery phases. About the Role As the Building Services Manager, you will lead electrical services coordination from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring design integrity, programme certainty, and compliance. You will collaborate with internal project teams, external design consultants, and the appointed M&E subcontractor to ensure seamless electrical delivery across the scheme. Key Responsibilities Lead coordination of electrical services design and installationManage building services strategy, sequencing, and integration with other disciplinesReview designs, support value engineering, and drive technical decision-makingWork closely with the specialist M&E contractor to resolve design and installation challengesOversee commissioning strategy, testing, inspections, and handover documentationEnsure compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and sustainability objectivesSupport site teams in resolving technical and installation issuesProvide accurate reporting on progress, risks, and performance to senior leadershipExperience Required Proven experience as a Building Services Manager within a main contractor environmentStrong electrical bias, ideally from building services engineering or electrical installation backgroundExperience on multi-storey commercial office projectsStrong technical understanding of electrical systems, commissioning, and compliance standardsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience with retained façade and complex mixed refurb / new-build schemes is advantageousWhat's on Offer Competitive day rateLong-term contract with a major UK contractorOpportunity to lead electrical delivery on a high-profile Birmingham developmentContinued project pipeline secured across 2025If you're an experienced Building Services Manager with an electrical focus and ready to lead delivery on a landmark scheme, please get in touch with your CV and availability.TPBN1_UKTJ
