Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Hertfordshire


Our client who specialise in communication systems are looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join their team in order to support on Hardware Projects ranging from small customisations to large complex new product developments.


Your duties:


  • PCB Design with analog and digital parts
  • Provide technical support to other engineering teams
  • Writing Firmware to support hardware development
  • Electronic design reviews
  • Develop and conduct test plans
  • Debug cards with complex problems
  • Requirements analysis and derivation
  • Integration activities between software and hardware
  • Identifying and proposing improvements in tools and processes


Qualifications, Skills and Experience


  • A relevant Engineering degree, ideally in Electronics / Hardware
  • Strong Hardware Design experience
  • FPGA / Firmware experience is advantageous
