We are currently seeking an experienced hands-on Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team based in Farnborough Hampshire.This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment on a broad range of transactional finance responsibilities.The position is offered on an 18 month fixed term employee basis initially with smart working (home/office) available (2 days from home/ 3 days in the office).To be considered applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.You must have previous Accounts Payable experience because we are unfortunately not able to provide training for this position.Key Responsibilities:Accounts Payable:Processing supplier invoices including sending for approval via ELOEntering approved invoices into SAP B1 / MariProcessing Customer InvoicesBank ReconciliationsProcessing ExpensesProcessing Payments on HSBC & SAP B1 and sending remittancesCredit Control:Sending StatementsCalling customers for paymentQualifications : Qualifications: AAT qualified or studying Proven track record in a similar accounts roleGood working knowledge of Excel and financial softwareExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSkills & Attributes:Highly organised and able to manage competing prioritiesStrong attention to detailAble to work across multiple functions and with cross-functional teamsA flexible can-do attitude and willingness to support where neededAdditional Information : Annual salary review and bonus awardsPension scheme up to 10% employer contributionLife insurance 4x SalaryDisability insurancePrivate medical and dental insuranceFor HR agencies: Please note that we do not accept applications coming from agencies.
