Over the course of a relationship that spans more than 80 years we have grown to a highly-skilled workforce of over 4000 people Boeings largest European base across 30 key locations from Lossiemouth to Gosport.Our team are engaged in all aspects of Boeings business including commercial and defence aviation services and creating the technology of tomorrow.Boeing is woven deep into the fabric of the UKs aerospace and wider industrial ecosystem including our collaboration with the UK government long-term research partnerships with six universities and a diverse network of over 950 domestic suppliers.Anchored by our presence at key sites across the UK Boeing is committed to innovating and investing in efforts that build enhance and contribute to the communities where we are proud to live and work.An exciting new opportunity has arisen within the Boeing Defence UK Supplier Management & Procurement Fixed Wing Commodities team.The Role :Procurement AgentThis role will be responsible for the acquisition of goods and services supporting fixed wing military derivative programmes bringing the programme from conception to execution to operate across commercial military and global boundaries along with completing existing programme obligations.Responsibilities:Boeing is seeking an expert procurement professional with procurement life-cycle experience to join the team as a Procurement Agent who will be able to:Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions for products and services.Engage stakeholders to ensure that program customer product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies.Prepare and execute proprietary information agreementsPrepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.Optimise execution of the supply chain balancing inventory supply orders and schedule demand.Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.Manage supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery quality financial stability and in-service performance.Mitigate risks and issues.Initiate supplier improvement activities and provide results for integration into contracting strategies.Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.Basic Requirements/Qualifications:Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)Experience supporting cross-functional teamsExcellent communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in this roleAbility to acquire UK SC security clearanceEnglish fluencyPreferred Qualifications:MCIPS or working towards MCIPSExperience working within a Procurement or Supply Chain role within the Aerospace/Defence industryExperience working within an Engineering/Production environmentExperience of using SAPExperience supporting contract terms and conditions development negotiations and raising contractsImportant information regarding this requisition:This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK.
