About the Role Working as part of the Manufacturing and Inventory Centre of Excellence team, this role is responsible for the coordination of movement of stock from manufacturers into our warehouses, goods receipting, and ensuring systems have the most accurate information relating to stock movements. You will organize the timely ordering of divisional special co-edition orders. Reporting to the Business Process Manager, you will work with a team of Supply and Demand Planners to support on time delivery of products, and liaising closely with Inventory, Customer Service, and Supply Chain colleagues. The core of your role will involve the creation of daily inbound deliveries, daily purchase requisitions, receipt of subcontracted stock to ensure components are correctly consumed into packs. The majority of this work will be carried out in SAP systems, and you will be expected to navigate these systems and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed of latest schedules. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office. About You Experience in a similar supply chain or organisational role would be advantageous A working knowledge of SAP4 HANA would be desirable Excellent IT skills, specifically MS Excel (MS Access would also be beneficial) Capable of working independently and managing own workload Ability to interact with colleagues across all divisions and functions of OUP Able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills Proven ability to meet targets Excellent communication Capable of continuously improving existing processes Benefits We care about work/life balance here at OUP.
