Job Title: Laboratory TechnicianHours: 37.5   Monday  - Friday - 9:00 am till 5:00 pm Job Location: Trafford ParkWe are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to carry out the routine testing and administration relating to the assessment of consumer products within the Hardlines Department.  This is an essential role in order to maintain sample workflow to meet customer deadlines.You will work in a laboratory environment detecting potential hazards and reporting on findings / data (e.g. instrument failures equipment out of tolerance qc failures abnormal readings/results).Qualifications : We welcome candidates who are new to the industry and those who can bring a unique perspective and diverse skills to our growing team.We are actively seeking candidates who may be transitioning from industries such as retail customer service hospitality warehouse and distribution.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to leverage their existing skills while gaining new ones.As a Laboratory Technician you will demonstrate the following attributes.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasksPositive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.Ability to follow procedures and processes accurately.Effective interpersonal skills including communication and active listening.Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Windows Internet ExplorerAdditional Information : At SGS we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
