General Maintenance Technician

Richard Irvin an RSK Group company are recruiting for a General Maintenance Technician to join the team based in Edinburgh, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.Our team of engineers, operations staff, project managers and compliance specialists are trained to start with our clients’ individual needs and work outwards from there. Our experts have extensive experience of advising and leading FM contracts and projects in both the public and private sectors and across industries. Our team is based throughout the UK – meaning you’re never too far from the help you need.Responsibilities:* Carry out annual and interim maintenance visits in compliance with the maintenance routines of mobile and fixed shelfing systems, stepladders and furniture and mobile trolleys.* Carrying out repairs and installation of mobile and fixed shelfing systems, stepladders and furniture and mobile trolleys.* Completion of all required documentation utilising the handheld Tablet system or customer paperwork.* A high level of health and safety awareness to ensure, establish and maintain high working standards at all times* Order materials for jobs where requested by Operations Manager and/or Service CoordinatorQualifications and Experience:* Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations* Demonstrate high standards of working practice and lead by example* Good communication skills* Ability to work under pressure* Ability to work on own initiative* Team Player* Flexible approachSalary and Benefits:* Salary depending on experience* Company Pension#Engineering #Recruitment #rskfamilyFull Job Description attachedRSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.About UsAt Richard Irvin, we create safer, smarter, greener places to live and work.
