The role of aRetailArea Manageris to be an integral part of the Rohan Retail team, responsible for driving and maximising sales across the owned and franchise estate under their control. About the role Support stores to achieve sales targets and profitability in line with budget Ensure all stores provide outstanding customer service Create and maintain effective relationships between stores and Head Office Implement, monitor, and maintain store, Health & Safety, and company standards Mentor, train, and support store managers to effectively manage their store Motivate and drive performance through structured store visits Contribute to sourcing, fitting, and opening stores and concessions as well as supporting store re-fits Key competencies Personal Delivers and drives high standards Positive attitude Strong work ethic, high levels of commitment Ability to work alone and as part of a team Strong time management Ability to embrace and drive change Leadership Inspirational, motivational, and passionate Understand and demonstrate the use of different leadership styles Create and maintain focus on objectives Be a role model Strategic thinking Support and drive corporate strategy Create and lead strategy Engage mangers in strategic thinking Implement plans for self and others to follow Effectively prioritise Awareness of how strategy impacts the wider business Customer Service Promotes and develop relationships with internal and external customers Create and maintain a high level of service Proactively identify improvements Demonstrate high levels of personal customer Service People Development Understand the importance and value of individuals and teams Regular communication with team Identify and act upon training and development opportunities Coaching skill to improve performance Positively manage performance concerns Business skills Drive and maintain corporate strategy Drive team to exceed sale targets Manage consistent cost control Identify commercial opportunities to drive additional sales Communication & Influence Communicate effectively at all levels Utilise different styles of influence Understand how your communication impacts others Create persuasive and logic reasoning Effective listening skills Requirements Full UK driving licence Minimum 3-5 years in retail management or multi-site support roles. Proven track record in driving operational excellence and achieving KPIs. Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems. Flexibility to travel across the assigned area.
