Floor Manager (Ref: KK46962)A Japanese Yakiniku restaurant located in central London is seeking a Floor Manager who will be responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations.-------------------ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS:• (O) Eligible visa: Permanent residence, Spouse, Partner• (X) NOT eligible: Student visa, requiring visa sponsorship, Working holiday, GraduateVISA SUPPORT: No-------------------TYPE: Permanent, full-timeWORKING HOURS: 5 days a week, approx. 45 hours (shift-based; system in place to take either Saturday or Sunday off)SALARY: £30–35k + service charge (depending on experience)START: ASAPLOCATION: Central LondonFloor Manager Responsibilities:• Overseeing and managing all front-of-house operations• Staff supervision, training, and shift management• Customer service (including table service, reservation management, and handling customer complaints)• Yakiniku-specific service: explaining dishes to customers, demonstrating cooking methods, and assisting with grilling at the table• Managing sales, inventory, and overall operationsFloor Manager Ideal Candidate:• 3+ years of management experience in a restaurant or shop• Business-level English• Excellent customer service skills• Experience in FOH operations and guest service in the hospitality industry• Interest in Japanese cuisine and culture• Strong teamwork and team-leading skills• Business awareness• Organisational skills and problem-solving skills• Friendly and approachable personality• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks***All applicants for the Floor Manager role must have the right to work in the UK, as the company is not able to offer visa sponsorship.***We regret that we cannot accept applications from Working Holiday, Graduate, or Student visa holders.If your application is successful, you will be contacted within two working days.
