Are you ready to take the wheel with Driver Hire Southampton? We have an exciting opportunity for 7.5T drivers to join a well-established company based in Southampton. You'll be delivering home improvement materials to both commercial and residential areas, supported by a dedicated drivers mate.

About the Role:

  • Driving: Operate a 7.5T vehicle.
  • Schedule: Start times between 7:00am and 11:00am.
  • Flexibility: Work on an ad hoc basis, any days from Monday to Saturday.
  • Physical Demands: Heavy lifting involved.
  • Shift Length: Shifts typically range from 8 to 10 hours.
  • Support: You'll have a drivers mate to assist with lifting and directions.
  • Area: Deliveries cover the South Coast.

Key Requirements for HGV Drivers:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card.
  • Clean driving record (No DD's or DR's).
  • Own transport essential for commuting.
  • Minimum 6 months experience driving a 7.5T vehicle.
  • Physically fit with a good understanding of manual handling.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting and teamwork.
  • Excellent area knowledge.
