For this position you will be required to deliver home improvement materials to commercial and residential areas with the help of a drivers mate.Information about this role:Driving a 7.5T vehicleStart time between 7:00am and 11:00amAD HOC basis, working any days from Monday to SaturdayHeavy lifting involvedShifts range from 8 to 10 hoursYou will have a drivers mate to assist with lifting and directionsDeliveries of home improvement goods around the South CoastImportant requirements from our HGV drivers:Full UK 7.5T driving licenceMust have a valid CPC and Digi Tacho cardNo DD's or DR'sOwn transport to commute to and from work is essentialMinimum of 6 months driving a 7.5T vehiclePhysically fitGood understanding of heavy lifting and manual handling proceduresHappy to heavy lift and complete work with the help of a driver's mateGood area knowledgeBenefits for our drivers:Weekly PayWe offer two payment methods- PAYE and PAYE AdvancedConsistent communication with our teamCPC and licence upgradingNo SundaysOvertime ratesReferral scheme- get a bonus when you recommend a friendDriver Hire Southampton is an agency which provides staff cover to a range of companies within the Southampton and Winchester area.
