Caretaker

  • Reports to: Estates Manager
  • Location: Fareham
  • Salary: £28,000
  • Type: 37 hours per week

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Fareham.

You must be able to start ASAP

Main Duties

  • Outdoor maintenance of the site
  • Typical caretaking duties
  • General upkeep and a variety of maintenance jobs
  • To operate as part of the estates team in the care, security and operation of all site buildings and grounds.
  • To support in the daily operation and availability of all sites.
  • To assist the Grounds Manager in preparing maintenance, development & project plans
  • To adopt a proactive approach towards improving service standards year on year, with strong emphasis on providing a professional and memorable customer focussed experience.

Requirements

  • Estates, caretaking or related experience
  • Able to start ASAP
  • Knowledge of DIY
  • Trade experience desirable
  • Able to pass a DBS check
  • No previous convictions
