Interim Workday Finance Systems Manager

Global Accounting Network are partnering with an international technology client who are looking for an interim Workday Finance Systems Manager on an initial interim contract. As the Workday Finance Systems Manager, this role reports into the Transformation Director and is responsible for the administration, maintenance and optimisation of the Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning systems.Main ResponsibilitiesOversee and maintain Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance Systems teamProvide technical support for core finance processesHold regular check-ins with key users and stakeholdersStay informed on Workday updates and ensure the business is prepared for changesRecommend and implement system enhancements to support Finance and wider business needsRun pilot programmes for new functionality, engaging Finance team members in key rolesOptimise processes to deliver measurable improvementsCommunicate system changes clearly and promptly to usersDevelop and deliver a comprehensive user training strategyManage relationships with external Workday support providersIdeal CandidateWorkday Financials certificationFully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Experience leading teams in a global environmentDemonstrated success in driving best-practice outcomes using Workday
