Because a role here isn't just another job; it's a career-defining opportunity to build the future of fintech.Job DescriptionAbout the roleWe are seeking an experienced Finance Systems Manager to join our Finance Technology team, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Systems. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring our finance systems operate effectively, deliver value to stakeholders, and maintain robust controls.You will be responsible for managing key finance systems including Workday Financials, Workday Adaptive Planning, Zip, Emburse Enterprise, Navan, and Boomi. This role involves overseeing system releases, maintaining IT General Controls (ITGCs), completing security audits, and continuously improving finance business processes.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong finance background who has developed expertise in finance systems and understands how technology can solve real business problems.What You Will Be DoingSystem Management & AdministrationManage and maintain our finance systems stack: Workday Financials, Workday Adaptive Planning, Zip, Emburse, Navan, and BoomiOversee security audits, access management, release management, and key rotation across all systemsReview system configuration changes before moving to productionOwn incident management across all finance systems, acting as first point of contact for issuesProcess Improvement & TransformationPartner with Finance teams to identify opportunities to improve existing systems and processesChallenge existing practices and establish new processes aligned with Finance prioritiesSupport Finance Transformation initiatives and new system implementationsEnsure support models post-go live are fit for purposeControls & ComplianceImplement, document, and maintain IT General Controls (ITGCs) across the finance systemsEnsure a robust control environment across critical business systemsLiaise with auditors to ensure effective and timely delivery of audit evidence during year-end auditsMap processes, outlining risks and controlsProject Management & Stakeholder EngagementCreate detailed project plans, RAID logs, and RACIsReport on progress to governance forumsCommunicate effectively with senior stakeholders to identify issues and propose solutionsTranslate technical expertise into actionable solutions and process guidanceAbout YouEssential ExperienceStrong knowledge of Workday Financials, including experience managing the system post-implementationExperience with budgeting and forecasting systems (Workday Adaptive Planning preferred)Experience with purchase-to-pay, expense management, and middleware systemsUnderstanding of ITGCs and how to implement them effectively within finance systemsStrong grasp of accounting processes and best practice finance processesExperience in finance transformation projects involving system implementation and process re-engineeringBackground in finance/accounting (ideally with some qualification or strong practical experience)Experience managing system specialists or small teamsTechnical SkillsAbility to review and understand system configurationsGood understanding of systems integration approaches (Boomi and/or Workday Orchestrate experience preferred)Experience with data analysis, data manipulation, and reportingComfortable managing system budgets and driving cost efficiencyExperience with other Finance Systems such as Zip, Emburse, and NavanSoft SkillsExcellent communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders and team membersStrong problem-solving ability: identify issues, determine root causes, and propose solutionsAbility to translate technical concepts into business languageCapable of educating stakeholders on finance processes and their business impactsProject management skills with ability to execute across functionsBring all of you to workWe create the conditions for high performers to thrive – through real ownership, fewer blockers, and work that makes a difference from day one.Here, you'll move fast, take on meaningful challenges, and be recognized for the impact you deliver.
