Manufacturing Improvement Manager Plymouth Circa £57,000 +Monthly bonus + Yearly bonus + Pension + Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Insurance + Wellness Programme Monday to Friday This role is ideal for someone who knows how to drive continuous improvement, raise operational standards, and get the best out of manufacturing teams. You’ll need solid experience in lean tools, process optimisation, and leading people through change. A background in production or assembly is important, along with the confidence to challenge and influence at all levels. Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above) is a strong advantage. You’ll take ownership of improving performance across the facility, building a consistent production system, strengthening quality, reducing waste, and helping the site hit its operational targets. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, support KPI improvement, and create a culture that thrives on accountability, engagement, and ongoing improvement. The Role: • Build and deploy a site-wide production system adopted across all shifts and departments • Support and track site budgets through clear initiative management • Drive KPI improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture • Lead performance improvement through OEE gains and waste reduction • Apply lean tools such as 6S, root cause analysis, problem solving, and process mapping • Reduce waste u...
