Using specialist software youll assess property damage determine appropriate solutions and settle claims within your authority and policy limits.Job DetailsInvestigating managing and reporting on a varied range of surveyed claimsLiaising with customers determining policy cover and legal liability investigations establishing the loss value and any associated costsHandling and desktop settling a full and varied range of incidentsEnsuring all claims are managed properly fairly and with integrity producing reporting which demonstrates thisMaintaining high standards of communication with internal/external stakeholders and providing information on significant claims trendsParticipating in the policy wording and claim handling enhancement working group and contributing to the claims auditing processSkills we would love you to haveExperience of investigating and handling domestic property claimsExcellent knowledge of current case law settlement methods building regulations market pricing flood/escape of water/fire damage management best practice and principlesClaims scoping and management software experienceThe interview processOur interview process involves the below:Technical Assessment Virtual competency Interview with hiring leaderAs a Disability Confident employer were committed to ensuring our recruitment processes are fully inclusive what this means to you is if youre applying for a job with us youll have fair access to support and adjustments throughout your recruitment journey.
