We are looking for an experienced Shipping Coordinator with experience of working in-house. This is a busy role for a growing team at a well established, global business.We are looking for someone with experience in Export, can be any location globally. Experience of working with a warehouse team would also be an advantage.This is a well established business with a wide range of shipments. From small to large, across Air, Road and Sea.Main duties to include:
  • Booking transport for a range of shipments
  • Keeping customers up to date with any challenges or changes to the delivery schedule
  • Liaising with carriers across UK and Globally, ensuring the best possible service levels and pricing
  • Produce and submit invoices
  • Ensure correct documentation has been received from freight forwarders
  • Liaise with Warehouse Managers and keep them up to date with delivery schedules
  • Liaise with business customers and build relationships
  • Ensure all shipments have correct documentation
We are looking for:
  • Experience in Import or Export
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Someone who is organised and can work in a fast paced role
