Residential Conveyancer Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion
  • Handle Freehold & Leasehold Sales and Purchases, New Build, Remortgages, Transfer of Equity, and Shared Ownership
  • Conduct ID checks, source of funds verifications, and gift deposit assessments
  • Issue contracts and manage mortgage redemptions
  • Oversee exchange of contracts
  • Order and report on searches, titles, leases, and raise associated enquiries
  • Work collaboratively with other Conveyancers to drive departmental growth

Residential Conveyancer Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Residential Conveyancing
  • Confidence in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in managing own caseload and developing business opportunities
  • Proficiency with case management systems and online platforms (e.g., SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • IT proficiency
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development
