REQ ID: FEQ426R329Recruiter: Dina HussainLocation: London United KingdomAs a Manager Field Engineering (Data and AI) you will lead a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects focusing on complex strategic accounts helping to lead our UK&I expansion. Your experience partnering with sales organisations will help to close revenue with opportunities of $1M ARR while coaching new sales and pre-sales team members to work together. You will guide your team and be involved with opportunities to enhance your teams effectiveness. You must be an expert at communicating complex business value-focused solutions; supporting complex sales cycles; and building relationships with key stakeholders in large corporations.You will report to the Senior Director Field Engineering.The impact you will have:Manage hiring onboarding and building your Pre-Sales Solutions Architect teamRapidly scale the designated team without sacrificing qualityBuild a collaborative culture within a rapid-growth team. To embody and promote Databricks customer-obsessed teamwork and diverse cultureSupport an increase in ARR through the investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cyclesPromote a solution and value-based selling field-engineering organisationDisplay an understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts in the assigned regionBuild Databricks brand in UK&I in partnership with the Marketing and Sales teamWhat we look for:Experience in a pre-sales manager role in developing managing and building a team of successful Big Data AI or Cloud professionals.Experience in a customer-facing role across various vertical sectorsExperience in developing go-to-market (GTM) strategiesExperience in complex strategic accounts generatingHave experience scaling and mentoring field and technical teamsKnowledgeable in and passionate about data-driven decisions AI and Cloud software modelsGreat at instituting processes for technical field members to improve efficiencyMarket experience of the UK&I regionBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or equivalent work experienceRequired Experience:Manager Key Skills Bidding,Customer Service,Government,IT Strategy,Chemistry,Analytics Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
