Our client has operations across multiple countries and territories, and this represents a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant to lead a high performing Finance team during an exciting period in its development. The remit over the 12 months will be broad and you will be exposed to a range of projects.

Job

As Financial Controller, you will have the chance to engage in the following:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the finance department, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, management accounts, and payroll functions
  • Preparing and delivering monthly financial reports to the CEO and Board of Directors
  • Reviewing monthly financial reports from the finance team and making necessary consolidation adjustments
  • Analysing and explaining budget and forecast variances
  • Establishing budgets and creating rolling forecasts
  • Conducting short, medium, and long-term financial forecasting for external stakeholders
  • Performing continuous cash flow analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and filing requirements across all company jurisdictions
  • Reviewing and preparing information for statutory financial statements and corporate tax returns
  • Coordinating with external auditors and preparing audit documentation
  • Managing intercompany agreements and payments, including overseeing transfer pricing
  • Reviewing Double Tax Treaties to ensure adherence to tax regulations
  • Providing regular hands-on support to the finance team as required

You

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A qualified accountant with post-qualification experience
  • Ideally, experience in a practice environment and at least one post-qualification role within industry
  • A strong track record of contributing to senior management teams
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively
  • Experience in a group setting would be highly advantageous
