This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team where your expertise will directly support the design, build, and delivery of cutting-edge maritime systems.The RoleAs a Software Test Engineer, you’ll take ownership of software build and testing activities to ensure the company’s products and services meet the highest performance and reliability standards. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in validating software performance, improving testability, and ensuring seamless integration across systems.Key Responsibilities:Build, test, and validate software for advanced engineering products and systemsCreate and maintain software build and test documentationAct as a technical liaison with customers, collaborators, and internal teamsContribute to improving the efficiency and robustness of software testing processesSupport wider project tasks and engineering activities as requiredYou’ll bring:A technical background with strong understanding of the software engineering lifecycleHands-on experience testing software on Windows-based systemsFamiliarity with scripting or programming to support test automationExcellent communication and documentation skillsFlexibility to occasionally travel in the UK and overseas to support trials and deploymentsDesirable:Experience building software installersPrevious experience within a technical or engineering environmentQualificationsDegree in Software, Computer Science, or a related Engineering discipline (or equivalent experience)Why Join?This is an opportunity to work with an organisation at the forefront of engineering innovation, developing products used worldwide across the defence and commercial marine sectors.
