Role Description

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading client projects, and setting realistic delivery expectations with clients (and freelancers). Most importantly leading the way in ensuring projects run smoothly and nothing falls by the wayside.


Your main duties and responsibilities include:


CLIENTS

  • Developing briefs from start to finish, from creative to production, ensuring the project meets client expectations.
  • Planning of the project process, timings and scope of work with strategic creativity.
  • Proposing times and estimating realistic deadlines for completing client projects.
  • Preparing client account status reports with strategic sharpness. 
  • Producing project plans to ensure successful delivery with planned foresight.
  • Supporting pitch presentations and client presentations, ensuring the straightest line to the best possible creative work.
  • Attending internal meetings including creative critiques, project reviews and briefings to ensure Brand42 teams are on time for project completion.


COMMERCIALS 

  • Ensuring all project phases are delivered on time and within budget, and do not exceed cost that would compromise profit.
  • Certifying a strong financial understanding of all projects in the pipeline and mitigating unnecessary costs for projects.
  • Ensuring a good understanding of project management tools and maximising their use within projects.
  • Keep track of budget reconciliations and raise concerns where appropriate.
  • Review financial status reports and reporting invoices to the finance team, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Actively managing fees, costs and expenses of projects ensuring they are in line with budget, and pushing boundaries to be cost-cutting where necessary.


CREATIVE

  • Building unbreakable bonds that blur boundaries with the creative team.
  • Championing the creative process to be unconventional and inspiring to others.
  • Managing and planning effective and efficient workflow resourcing for projects, and finding new creative ways to overcome obstacles.
  • Collaborating with the creative team to determine resource requirements for projects and ensure effective liaising, negotiating and briefing of third parties.
  • Proactively generating ideas to inspire members of the wider Brand42 team. 


COMMUNICATION 

  • Ensuring management and successful delivery of client expectations, keeping all stakeholders informed of the progress of projects and dealing with or escalating any issues efficiently.
  • Supporting the team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring they have the means to work to the best of their ability.
  • Ensuring best practice by checking the accuracy and quality of all documentation and communication within your account team. 
  • Identifying problems and proposing solutions to those obstacles that minimise disruption to the project and Brand42 teams.
  • Promoting our principles, methods and Brand42 tools to effectively manage projects under their accountability from start through to delivery and support Brand42 team members in managing their projects.
